1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on Shehnai ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to register. By registering, you confirm that you are legally eligible to marry under the laws applicable to you. You must provide accurate and truthful information. Providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@shehnai.in.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; harass, threaten, or harm other members; post false, misleading, or inappropriate content; attempt to collect other members' personal information without consent; use automated tools to access or scrape the Platform; impersonate any person or entity; post content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
5. Membership Plans
Paid memberships provide access to premium features including viewing contact details. Membership fees are collected in advance and are non-refundable once activated. Membership benefits are personal to the account holder and cannot be transferred. We reserve the right to modify plans and pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, descriptions). By posting, you grant Shehnai a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the Platform. You must not post content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights or contains personally identifiable information of others without consent.
7. Privacy
Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Shehnai provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that profiles are accurate, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any meetings or interactions arranged through the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shehnai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct harmful to other members or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City], India.
